DESCRIPTION: I will focus on two topics in top physics - the anomalous
 ly large forward\nbackward asymmetry (A_FB) in t-tbar production and 
 the newly suggested signal of\ndark matter production - single top wi
 th missing E_T. Large A_FB may be a sign of\nnew physics\, with new f
 lavor symmetric sectors representing an attractive possibility.\nI wi
 ll show which representations of SM global flavor group can lead to ac
 ceptable\nphenomenology. As for the second topic\, I will show that a
  monotop signal may be\nthe dominant signal of DM at LHC for a large 
 set of models.
