SUMMARY:Magnetization and current\, Condensed Matter Theory Group Semi
nar\, Artem Abanov\, TAMU
DESCRIPTION:I will discuss ways to manipulate various magnetization te
xtures by the
\ncurrent. I will start by introducing magnetization
\, both static and dynamic. I
\nwill show how magnetic domain wall
s can be moved by time dependent
\nresonant current. I will discus
s the ways to measure different
\nproperties of the magnetization
textures in nano wires and nano dots\,
\nand the ways to produce n
ontrivial textures with the current. The effects of
\nthe topologi
cally nontrivial textures in the magnetization on the current will
\nalso be shown.
\n
\n
