SUMMARY:Exciting dynamics in multiple time dimensions \, R. G. Herb Co
ndensed Matter Seminar\, Ivar Martin\, Argonne National Laboratory
DESCRIPTION:Externally driving a dynamical system\, be it quantum or c
lassical\, effectively increases the number of its time dimensions. I
n this talk I will describe how the extra time dimensions can be harne
ssed to synthesize topological insulators purely in time domain\, desc
ribe their possible applications for energy conversion and quantum eng
ineering\, and point out connections to localization and chaos.
