SUMMARY:Why the Higgs is light\, Why it has SM couplings to gauge boso
ns and fermions\, and where there are more Higgses to be found.\, Theo
ry Seminar (High Energy/Cosmology)\, Ken Lane\, Boston University
DESCRIPTION:Current LHC data indicate that H(125) is either the
\nsing
le Higgs of the Standard Model or\, to a good
\napproximation\, an “
aligned Higgs”. We propose that H is
\nthe pseudo-Goldstone dilaton
 of Gildener and Weinberg.
\nThis naturally and\, we conjecture\, uniqu
 ely accounts for
\nits low mass and its alignment. It further implies
 the
\nexistence of additional Higgs bosons in ~200 to ~550
\nGeV. We i
llustrate this in a version of a 2HDM of Lee
\nand Pilaftsis. Our vers
ion is consistent with all published
\nprecision EW (LEP) and LHC (ATL
 AS & CMS) data. We
\npropose tests to confirm or exclude this model wi
 th
\navailable LHC data.
