SUMMARY:Physics In Concert With The Arts\, WISELI Seminar\, Agnes Mocs
 y\, Pratt Institute
DESCRIPTION:This talk's journey will depart from the often present sci
ence-art dichotomy\, exploring the complicated\, often unexpected rela
tionship that physics and the arts share. This complex relationship pr
ovides opportunities for fresh storytelling\, in particular physics na
rratives embedded in a wider culture and interdisciplinary exploration
 s in classrooms and beyond.

\n
\nI argue that science and the arts acting in
concert may deliver benefits beyond science communication\, addressing
questions of social justice\, and become an influencer of a more equi
 table world.
