SUMMARY:An Early Cosmological Epoch of QCD Confinement\, Network in Ne
 utrinos\, Nuclear Astrophysics\, and Symmetries (N3AS) Seminar\, Tim T
 ait \, UC Irvine
DESCRIPTION:I will discuss the possibility that Physics beyond the Sta
ndard Model induces an early phase of the Universe in which QCD is con
fined\, with a larger confinement scale than is observed today. Such a
phase offers a unique mechanism that can explain the matter-antimatte
r asymmetry of the Universe\, and offers opportunities to shed light o
n mysteries such as the abundance of QCD axions or WIMP dark matter.
