SUMMARY:Search for dark matter using diffuse gamma rays discovered by
Tibet AS_{\\gamma}\, Network in Neutrinos\, Nuclear Astrophysics\, and
  Symmetries (N3AS) Seminar\, Tarak Nath Maity \, IISc\, India
DESCRIPTION:Gamma rays being charge-neutral are extremely useful messe
ngers in astroparticle physics. Recently the Tibet AS_{\\gamma} experi
ment has detected sub-PeV diffuse gamma rays from part of the galactic
disc. In this talk\, we will present the theorist's view on the detec
tion principle of high-energy gamma rays by Tibet AS_{\\gamma}. Then w
e will discuss its implications in the physics of particle dark matter
 .
