SUMMARY:Playing with Quantum Annealers \, Physics Department Colloquiu
 m\, Alex Kamenev \, FTPI-UMN
DESCRIPTION:Quantum annealers are analog devices designed to implement
certain quantum algorithms primarily for solving optimization problem
 s.
\nI will discuss our experimentation with D-Wave (5600 qubits) and
Quantinuum (32 qubits) platforms and lessons one can learn from it.
\n
I will also talk about using these devices as neural networks trainers
and how quantum physics may prove to be useful for AI.
