SUMMARY:New Opportunities to Search for Long-Lived Particles\, Theory
 Seminar (High Energy/Cosmology)\, Matheus Hostert\, U. Iowa\, Iowa Cit
 y
DESCRIPTION:I will discuss new opportunities to search for weakly-coup
led\, long-lived particles (LLP) produced in rare meson and lepton dec
ays. We derive new limits and sensitivity to the visible decays of the
se LLPs at spallation sources and neutrino experiments. As a prototypi
cal example\, we focus on axion-like particles coupled to leptons. Tim
e permitting\, I will also link some of these signatures with ultra-hi
gh energy events at neutrino telescopes. Together\, these approaches m
ap a broad and rich landscape for discovering a wide range of weakly-c
 oupled particles.
