SUMMARY:Strongly correlation and topology in Kondo lattice systems\, R
. G. Herb Condensed Matter Seminar\, Sheng Ran\, Washington University
  in St Louis
DESCRIPTION:Quantum materials with both strong correlations and nontri
vial band structure topology can have novel physics properties that do
not exist in the non-correlated counterparts. Recent theoretical work
has proposed that combination of Kondo physics and nonsymmorphic crys
tal symmetries can give rise to such strong correlated topological sys
tems. In this talk\, I will present our recent experimental exploratio
n this direction. In one case\, we found intrinsic anomalous Hall effe
ct that seems to break the Fermi liquid scaling relation. In another c
ase\, we have discovered a candidate for topological Kondo insulator w
ith high temperature metallic surface state.
