TeachQuantum — a teacher professional development program aimed at bringing quantum science into high school classrooms was launched five years ago as part of HQAN’s education efforts. HQAN’s education, outreach, and workforce development programs create a comprehensive pipeline from K–12 through professional development to build the national quantum workforce of tomorrow. HQAN is funded by the National Science Foundation.
Through a mix of quantum learning labs and curriculum development sessions, taking place at U Chicago and UW-Madison, teachers have built their own classroom-ready lessons and have reached hundreds of students.
